The needs are extensive and complex. While we are able to plug into community supports and resources, the needs surpass what is available in many ways.

We know that most victims/survivors leave their trafficking situation with nothing but the clothes on their backs. First Response Bags are a great way to get a bundle of items to a victim/survivor at generally one of the earliest points of contact - Police.
When law enforcement personnel have the chance to provide a First Response Bag, it initiates a process of reshaping the relationship dynamics between the police and the victim. This simple act can pave the way for breaking down power imbalances and serve as a connection to more comprehensive, ongoing assistance.
